Refund and Returns Policy for Your Local Pharmacy

Introduction

At Your Local Pharmacy we aim to provide our customers with the best possible service and products. However, we understand that there may be times when you need to return or request a refund for an item you have purchased. This policy outlines our procedures for returns and refunds.

Returns and Refunds for Medicines

Over-the-Counter & Prescriptions Medicines: We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for dispensed prescriptions due to their nature and health and safety regulations. However, there are exceptions if:

  • You received the wrong medication due to our error.
  • The medication is damaged or unusable.
  • You no longer require the medication due to a change in medical circumstances.

In these cases, please contact us immediately, and we will do our best to rectify the situation.

Returns and Refunds for Non-medicinal Products

You may return any non-medicinal product purchased from our pharmacy within 28 days of purchase for a full refund, provided that:
  • The product is unopened and in its original packaging.
  • You have the original receipt.
  • The product is not perishable or hygiene sensitive (e.g., cosmetics, baby products).

If a product is faulty or damaged, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or offer a full refund, even if the return period has passed.

Exclusions

We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for the following items:

  • Personal items such as toothbrushes, razors, and thermometers.
  • Downloadable products such as ebooks and audio files.
  • Special orders or customised products.
  • Sale items (unless faulty or damaged).

How to Return a Product

To return a product, please bring it to Your Local Pharmacy, 238 Wheelwright Road, B24 8EH, along with the original receipt. We will process your return and issue a refund within 5 working days. Alternatively, you can contact us for return instructions via email or phone.

Delivery Charges

If you are returning a product due to our error (e.g., wrong medication), we will refund any delivery charges you paid. We will not refund delivery charges for unwanted items or items returned within the return period but not due to our error.
