Treatment Decision
- If your symptoms meet the clinical criteria, the pharmacist can provide the appropriate treatment, which may include pain relief, nasal sprays, or antibiotics if a bacterial infection is suspected.
- If the pharmacist suspects your symptoms are more severe or not suitable for this service (e.g., if you have signs of a serious infection), they will refer you to your GP, NHS 111, or another appropriate service for further care.
